Mr Bublé Spreads His Charm …

There wasn’t a spare seat in the house – all seats at the Sydney Entertainment Centre were snapped up by dedicated, diehard fans combined with first-timers of the incredibly talented and charming Canadian Michael Bublé.

Everyone in the audience was eager to hear ‘Mr Showman’ himself in the flesh and once Michael was on stage he didn’t disappoint. Not only does Michael sing, he also blends in his happy, joking personality; the result being a more intimate and relaxed show, full of laughs.

Mr Bublé sang a mix of his old catalogue plus newer songs from his latest album Call Me Irresponsible; he also entertained the crowd with old crooning favourites that included an Elvis song with a Bublé twist, Can’t Help Falling In Love – the audience melted. He is such a pleasant guy, getting up-close and personal with as many of his fans as he could manage. In between songs he jumped off the stage and was quickly groped by a group of welcoming girls, not that he minded; he hugged, kissed, posed for pics and held hands with eager audience members, sharing the Bublé charm.

A highlight was when Michael was joined on stage by support act Naturally 7 to perform That’s Life; he also dedicated his song Home to the Aussie fans in appreciation for making it his biggest hit of his career. He proved his incredible talent by ending with Song For You without the aid of a microphone and even appeared outside after the show to sign whatever the fans handed to him – what a talent!
