Korn Is Simply A Band That Rocks!

It wasn’t a fully-packed out show, but at least the fans that did take themselves to see the US band Korn were all a fully dedicated lot, all excited to see the band that popularized nu-metal music back in the mid to late ‘90s.

Warm-up acts Chimaira, Biohazard, Bloodsimple and Throwdown managed to warm up the Adelaide crowd and by the time headliners Korn took to the stage, there was moshing all over the place. Frontman Jonathan Davis whipped the audience into wild excitement, jumping all over the stage dressed in his black leather kilt and knee-high boots. As the bright strobe lights flashed and the smoke enveloped the band, the screaming guitar riffs of guitarist Munky filled the room accompanied by the muffled voice of frontman Jon. He took time out to scream to the fans, “Adelaide!!!” which was well-received and then, “Make some f@#*ing noise!!” in true rock metal fashion.

Korn pumped out old and new tracks including Freak On A Leash, Falling Away From Me, A.D.I.D.A.S and Helmet In The Bush – all the while the fans bounced and moshed and screamed. A fitting encore finished off the night with songs Blind and Got The Life, combined with an appreciative, boisterous response from the crowd.
