Grinspoon Return After Their Hiatus …

Aussie favourites, Grinspoon have returned from having a 12 month break and are back crowding-out venues across the nation. Local supports, The Wahas and Children Collide made sure that the crowd at The Metro was well and truly revved-up and in the mood for the animated performance of Phil Jamieson and the boys.

Effective lighting and sirens welcomed the boys on stage, the fans went berserk and the Grinners instantly had everyone’s attention. Launching into their distinctive sound, Phil cruised into the track Black Tattoo from the album Alibis & Other Lies, at the same time he pranced about the stage whilst his buddy guitarists Joe and Pat joined in.

It was hard not to sing along with such great songs including Pills Thrills, Bleed You Dry, Minute By Minute, What You Got, Ready 1, A Thousand Miles and Chemical Heart; all the while the Grinners making sure that their audience were having as much fun as they were on stage. A great night of Grinspoon ended with Just Ace and finally Champion, both left the kids in the mosh screaming for more …
