Pubs and Clubs Magazine was introduced to the market in January 2004. A glossy street publication, informing readers of the ongoing events taking place in the entertainment industry. The concept was to enlighten readers of social activities within the Pub and Club scene.
The magazine is designed towards the music industry, any large bands or events that are performing in Australia can be read about in Pubs and Clubs magazine.
Our signature – “your eye on local entertainment” – delivers the message to inform readers of just that, our Live Line Up section features live entertainment which happened in the month proceeding. Amongst this exciting regime of stories we also display celebrity spot, interviews with leading bands, pub teasers, gossip, comedy, reviews on movies, CDs and DVDs and our famous gig guide which is known to be the best informed gig guide in Queensland.
Towards the back of our publication features a directory, listing all Pubs and Clubs on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, informing readers whether the venue serves food, beer on tap, offers pool tables and what the dress code is. It also informs if the venue has live music or dj’s. We feel this is a publication that will be taken home and not thrown away but referenced throughout the month with the marketing of our gig guide and our directory.
Complimenting the magazine is the website www.pubsandclubs.net.au, which is a comprehensive site informing those of what’s going on around Queensland and within Australia. This site also features our gig guide, directory and restaurant guide. The site is very popular and gets thousands of hits per day.
The magazine is owned by Specialdays Publishing who is heavily involved in the tourism market. The Pubs and Clubs magazine is marketed throughout some of these publications like Accommodationgoldcoast.com.au, Accommodationguide.net.au, AccommodationMelbourne.com.au, Gigguide.net.au and many many more.
